Dr. Crystal Mitchem has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1999 and is a graduate of North Carolina State University. She opened West Lincoln Veterinary Hospital in 2011 to provide compassionate, personalized care to the community she loves. When she’s not at the clinic, Dr. Mitchem and her husband farm with their two daughters and are actively involved in showing Hereford cattle at the national level.

You’ll often find her corgi, Tuffy, by her side at work, along with a household full of furry friends — including two cats, Keats and Maizel, a Great Pyrenees, and (let’s just say) more than a few beloved Hereford cattle. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and caring for the plants around the hospital.
